I spent my first morning in Seattle visiting the @modcuisine labs and seeing what kind of fun science they’re up to. As a former scientist this was an absolute treat! Thank you, Nathan and Anjana for a wonderful time.

Thank you, London for such a warm and welcoming reception. Last night was a wonderful end to this amazing trip, I cooked dinner for @ottolenghi @helen_goh_bakes @felicitycloake @dianahenryfood @meerasodha and Bee Wilson (who had to leave early and isn't in the photo). I couldn't have asked for a better send off! Now off to Seattle✈️✈️✈️ for the final leg of this month's book tour. (Also, just in case you're wondering, that is Diana's famous cookbook library in the background and it really is a treasure!)

When I wrote Season, all I hoped was for people to cook from it and see my world and food the way I see it, today my publisher informed me that it's been named one of the Best Cookbooks of the Year by @amazon and I'm very thankful for all of you that have supported me on this amazing journey of a lifetime❤️❤️❤️ @chroniclebooks

@gailsimmonseats made the chicken soup with toasted naan from #SeasonCookbook and I agree with her, it's a wonderful dish for a cold weather day! ❤️❤️❤️🍲 @chroniclebooks

It's a wet day here in London and I've been eating my way through and perusing all the second hand and vintage bookstores. Here's a good fall recipe that I strongly recommend, the sumac seasoned scallops in a little ghee with apple and pear mostarda in #SeasonCookbook

I tried something new this year for Thanksgiving. The editors at @taste asked me to give sous vide a shot and cook a turkey with @chefsteps #joule and I was very surprised with my results. Also, @carolynfigel drew some really cool illustrations including this sketch of me! Got to explore the sand dunes by the Tomb of Mleiha in a jeep which was a roller coaster of a ride. I don't think the video I shared does it due justice but it was definitely a lifetime of an experience and one that I will always remember. Thank you to @sharjahbookauthority @emirates @sheratonsharjah @chroniclebooks for this magical experience!

Some of the exquisite desserts I've been eating in Sharjah and Dubai this weekend, the assortment of baklavas (the one with katafi - shredded phyllo was my favorite) and the Mahalabiya a rose water scented milk pudding that reminds me of an elegant blancmange. #seasoncookbook

@sugardove made the spicy chocolate chip hazelnut cookies from #SeasonCookbook and I would dive into them straight of the baking sheet because they look so gorgeous.
